Need help?

I’m taking my GED test in 3 weeks because my dad decided that he didnt want me to finish high school. Im 18 yrs old. I only have about 10 credits or less and my GPA is average like 2.5, I dont remember. What do you think will be the best college for me? Just need an idea, I want to be somewhere northeast, where i used to live, or in florida, where I live now. I got 2 cousins who went to Boston College, on of them works for them in admissions, what are my chances for applying.

With a 2.5 and a GED you would probably be best off at a local community college. Do well there and you can transfer to a 4 year college.

You won’t get into Boston College, community college is probably one of your only options.

What? your dad made you drop out of school???

Boston College costs about $54,000 per year to go. You would not get accepted, nor would you get the aid needed to go there.

Your stats are not high enough for acceptance to the schools that give a lot of financial aid.

You will have to start at your local community college and then transfer when you have enough credits.
