Eehh you could write about pride and prejudice and how people viewed the truth about darcy’s character. Also, you could use the Armenian genocide. i’m not sure whether you’re familiar with it, though. Ask me about it, if you like :)

actually i am not that familliar with them can you tell me a summary about them

Maybe writing about the Russian-American propagandas during the Cold War would be a good way to give a historical example.

In it’s basics, American said Russia is evil, and Russia said America is evil.
Maybe also write about the McCarthyism

There’s plenty of examples throughout history at least.

eh what can you write about McCarthyism.

McCarthyism could maybe be mentioned to give an example of the results of the propaganda.

So if you’re still interested: some people say that the Armenian genocide (which occurred during the First World war when Turkey was an ally of the Germans) was just a simple relocation in order to bring the Armenians in Turkey to a safer area (being the Syrian deserts).
Others, however, contest this idea and affirm that it was a genocide, because the Turks just wanted to create a homogenous (muslim, Turkish-speaking etc.) nation and used the war as an excuse and cover-up.

BTW, about half a million to one million Armenians died during this relocation/genocide.

I think you should go in and write about something you know. If you are wasting time trying to remember facts about a new subject, you may not be able to finish your essay. Have one literary reference you know well enough to apply to different topics, a number of historical facts you can draw on, and then come up with a local/personal take on the topic. For example: Orwell’s 1984 seems to work for a lot of those essay questions. I’m sure one of the books you have deconstructed in English class will serve you well. Make your first sentence very complex/complete and use good vocabulary. I have seen a number of “12” essays and they all have this in common. They don’t care what you write about as much as how you write about it. Organization and a high level of critical analysis will get you a great score. Good luck.

you guys are great thanks alot !!! :)

BTW, Lord of the Rings (the movie too, though to a lesser extent) can work very well, too.

the book Akhenaten: Dweller In Truth is the best example ever (just by looking at the title you could use it)

basically anything that has two sides, even American Revolution (britain thought the acts were justifiable while the colonists did not…)
