need ideas, fun gifts for Elvis-themed Renewal of Vows?

<p>I am going to an Elvis-themed Renewal of Vows in Las Vegas for a very fun cousin of mine. (I think it is about their 35th anniversary.) Dressing 50’s style is optional so I don’t know that we will go that far; if I were traveling with my daughter we would figure out a way, but I’m traveling with my mom, sister, and niece, who are more sedate.</p>

<p>It would be fun to bring Elvis themed “Wedding gifts” Any fun ideas? Preferably something non-perishable (no peanut butter and banana sandwiches) that one could pack in a suitcase. It’s in 2 1/2 weeks.</p>

<p>I haven’t joined the cc parents facebook group yet but I might need to join it after this to show those of you who are on there the photos. I think the “wedding” couple is going to dress up as Elvis and Priscilla. This Viva Las Vegas event is going to be pretty funny, I think.</p>

<p>Elvis fan here. My friend gave me a set of “Elvis’ Favorites” recipe cards (including the fried PB/banana sandwich) after she visited Graceland–that would be a very small and portable gift. I don’t know if Graceland has a website you can order from. . .</p>

<p>I was going to suggest something boring, like the CD with all of Elvis’s number one hits.</p>

<p>Years ago a friend and I looked for an “Elvis on Velvet” for a co-worker and never found one.</p>

<p>How about some Elvis DVD’s- “Viva Las Vegas” would be appropriate.</p>

Or maybe you each take a letter E - L - V - I - S and then stand together on a regular basis?
Unfortunately, all I can think about when I hear “Viva Las Vegas” is that stupid ED commercial…how to ruin a perfectly good song!</p>
