Hello, I’m a highschool senior with a hard decision to make. I was accepted into both San Diego State University and University of North Carolina at Greensboro as an anthropology major, but I can’t figure out which one is a better fit or even which one has a better anthropology program. I know San Diego is a great research college and is larger but North Carolina is close and I have heard fantastic reports about the school people and all. I am also interested in study abroad programs. Anything anyone can tell me would be a great help. Thank you so very much!

Unless one of these has a special program that you have been admitted to that has an early reply date, you don’t need to reply Yes or No for quite a while yet. Can you visit either or both of them and see what you think? Meanwhile, you certainly do have time to contact both departments and ask for more details about their programs, and to read through the web pages for each institution’s study abroad office. You also can run this handy calculator to compare your costs of attendance: [FinAid | Calculators | Award Letter Comparison Tool](<a href=“Your Guide for College Financial Aid - Finaid”>Award Letter Requirements - Finaid)

I have till may 1st but I’d rather figure it out now! One school is offering me a scholarship but I wanna make sure I’ll be happy with the school. My biggest fear I guess is going to a school and not enjoying myself and then that affecting my grades!

All the more reason to take your time in making this decision!
Here is a good article from the New York Times - [Advice to Seniors on Getting Decisions Right the First Time - NYTimes.com](<a href=“Advice to Seniors on Getting Decisions Right the First Time - The New York Times”>Advice to Seniors on Getting Decisions Right the First Time - The New York Times)

University of North Carolina Greensboro is a joke…

Go to SDSU

Why do you say that?
