Need PLUS loans, but not sure I sign in on parents or student account

<p>Hello, I needed to get a PLUS (parent loan for undergraduate students) on this site:</p>

<p>PLUS is a parent loan. The parent must sign on using their own information and PIN to apply for a PLUS loan.</p>

<p>Make sure your parents know what they are getting in to… lots of bad publicity on the PLUS loans.</p>

<p>Even worse than lots of bad publicity is lots of risk. The principal limits are ridiculously high and PLUS loans cannot be discharged under any circumstances, other than death of both the student and the parent.</p>

<p>I believe PLUS loans are discharged if *either *the student the loan was taken out for dies, or the parent who took out the loan dies. Both don’t have to die.</p>
