<p>I have the opportunity to graduate High School a semester early so instead of receiving my diploma in June I can get it in January. My question is how much will the admissions folk admire me graduating early. Is an excellent recommendations letter better than this?Will my sign of dedication be valued more than an excellent letter or should I be working on picking the perfect teacher for the letter?</p>
<p>I don’t think it will really make a difference unless you’re doing something amazing with your extra months off, since (at least at my school) it wasn’t hard to graduate early at all. I think a good recommendation is probably going to be more important. Of course, I’m not an admissions officer, so if you need professional advice, it’s probably better if you just call up NYU admissions and ask how they view such things.</p>

<p>Do not graduate early. Graduating early is done by those who do not go off to college but go off to work.</p>
