DS needs a fairly inexpensive portrait studio for pictures to accompany his graduate/professional school applications. I suggested Olan Mills but they are no longer in business, at least in his area. Wondering what others have done in similar circumstances. Professional photography is expensive and takes time. He needs the pictures fairly quickly (next 2 weeks) as procrastination and hectic scheduling have kept him from getting it done with much time to spare. Anybody know anything about JC Penney Studios? Other ideas?
We have a photographer friend who did DD’s pictures. But really…anyone could have. She was in our backyard, with trees behind her…and he took a great head shot.
I would suggest you get your camera out, dress the kid up, and try some shots.

How fancy do they really need to be? Even Target and CVS can do passport type photos.
It’s about $3.99 a sheet at JCPENNEY with coupon + $10 sitting fee. Nice quality.
Do either of you have a fairly updated iPhone? Like a 5 series or 6???
D1 took D2’s senior pics out in natural light with her iPhone 5s. We developed them on iPhoto and got them pretty quickly. They are clear and gorgeous. And cheap.
