<p>I’m looking for courses to satisfy this requirement, and I’ve got a few ideas, BUT since I’m also doing a lot of other stuff with my remaining time at Cal, keeping my homework load relatively light is a pretty high priority.</p>
<p>Any particular recommendations for courses to satisfy those requirements?*</p>

<p>Do you need the course to double up on some other requirement, such as the College of Engineering’s Humanities and Social Studies Requirement, or some other requirement(s) for your major(s)?</p>
<p>For example, if one of your majors is Math or requires an upper division Math course, you can take Math 160 for that and L&S Historical Studies.</p>
<p>Just for the L&S International and History requirement. I’m a BioE looking to double into MCB, and other classes have already covered the rest, so these are standalone.</p>
<p>There are tech-ish options on the list, but none of them seem to be offered next semester. I’ve got a couple of weeks to figure it out, though.</p>
<p>Take a 2nd-year language class for IS.
For HS, try Geog 70AC. I’m doing that next semester.</p>
<p>Why a second-year language class? (I’m actually legit confused on this one, though that might be because I’m generally terrible with languages)</p>
<p>If you’re interested in learning a new language, it’s just an easy option, that’s all :)</p>
<p>^Yeah, that’s how most people I know fulfilled their IS requirement. So I unfortunately don’t know too much about other classes that could fulfill the requirement.</p>
<p>AAS 20B with H Dong for historical studies (took 20A in FPF and it was a joke…I heard 20B is even more so)</p>
