<p>Shopping for a good yet affordable futon for my S’s dorm room. Don’t really want to spend more than $200, actually closer to $150 would be great. Looked on Target’s web site and all of theirs received pretty bad reviews for durability and comfort. Does anyone have any good suggestions?</p>

<p>Anyway, we have a futon in D2’s bedroom at home. It has a steel frame. We have not had any problems with the frame, despite sleep overs and sleeping 3-4 girls at a time. HOWEVER I will warn you that when we purchased it I paid for the best futon mattress available. She says it is fine. However, earlier this year when she was really ill, I “slept over,” as in I slept in her bed and not mine. The mattress was NOT COMFORTABLE. I tossed and turned all night.</p>
