<p>I have a 92% weighted GPA I’m not sure about unweighted but I don’t think it’s that much lower. I have an 1880 SAT and 1280 2 part. I need some good safety schools in the north east of the US. If the school is good at sports and is a medium size school both of those would be great thanks.</p>

<p>I have visited UConn and I do like it but I thought that was more of a target? Oh and my home state is NY and for a safety I wouldn’t want to pay more then 40k a year</p>
<p>A safety also should be a financial safety as well as an academic safety. Look at SUNY schools – Binghamton is probably a match, but also ones like New Paltz, Stony Brook, Buffalo, Albany may be worth a look.</p>
<p>Perhaps check if the SUNY schools would be reasonable safety candidates?</p>
<p>Stony Brook has a football team and their baseball team is in the College World Series (knocked out LSU). It’s not really a safety but a match.</p>
