Need some advice from females

In trying to come up with an effective way to describe my passion for drawing and art in general I had an idea for a unique metaphor. I was trying to think of how best to describe the feeling of seeing art and just being riveted by it, and the comparison that came to mind was seeing a beautiful woman. I think they are close to the same, that sense of not being able to stop staring, the wonderment of who she is, what she is like and things like that. Now of course I am not talking about just the physicality of beauty (you know), but more about the aura of beauty. I don’t want to sound chauvinistic or creepy but I do think the comparison is noteworthy. So basically does it seem offending, I don’t think it is but at the end of the day I’m a guy and the worst thing that could happen is to accidentally offend a female admissions officer.

No, it doesn’t sound offensive at all. To compare a feeling you get from art to the feeling of seeing a beautiful woman should not offend anyone. As long as you don’t make it seem that is the only use of women or something.

I don’t think it’s creepy but I think it could come off as a tad overdramatic.
