<p>I’m currently a sophomore.</p>
<p>I’ve been in the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps. for about a year and a half so far, but my interest in it has piqued (it wasn’t what I thought it would be) and I am slightly inclined to end my participation in it.</p>
<p>However, my parents have been largely adamant that this will end my chances of getting into my college of my dreams (Colorado School of Mines).</p>
<p>Are they correct?</p>
