Need some help please!

So im applying to penn early decision…thats pretty much decided. I love the school, and according to its need-based aid plan, ill be able to afford it if im accepted (which is a big factor).

however, im worried that if i get rejected (which is perhaps likely, as my ECs lack tangible leadership and im not my high school valedictorian), i wont have any reach schools to still look for.

SO my question is, aside from hopkins (thats the only one ive found that i like), whats a solid reach school for a white male with a 2320 superscore and a 96.5 UW qpa at a decent but not great public high school?

Im looking for a school thats possible. Like penn, one that i would love, that i have at least a fraction of a shot at, and that has an excellent need-based aid policy (like…making tuition almost disappear for a family with a yearly yield under 65000 and assets under 10000 lol)

PLEASE respond! i need help!!

come on guys!

It may be out of your geographically-preferred zone, but what about Davidson? They meet 100% of need entirely through grants and student employment. And, they’re an excellent school academically.

They have ED II with a January 2nd deadline - coming 3 weeks after Penn’s ED notification, you would have a little time to submit a back-up application.

And, it really is a great school.

Maybe Tufts or Emory?
