Need some info about University Division standard admission at IU Bloomington

Hello community

I just need to know if a student who accepts the UD standard admission at IU Bloomington will attend the first year courses along with the Direct admission students or if the Standard admits have their courses in a separate college.

I understand that Standard admits must get a B or higher to qualify automatically to Kelly in the Sophomore year and the courses are the same as those for direct admits. Please confirm if this is accurate.

Please share some tips and things to watch for when starting the program as a standard admit in University Division intending to transition to Kelley for a BS in Finance degree.

Thanks for reading.

You are correct in that standard admits take the same coursework as direct admits. Key differences are that basically with SA there are higher stakes, and Direct admits have a lot more scholarship opportunities and a few exclusive opportunities to network during freshman year…

Does anyone know if Math and Reading placement exams are required for Standard Admits at Kelley?
