NEED STATISTICS writing op-ed piece about financial aid

<p>I’m writing an op-ed piece about the need to revise financial aid policies, especially for middle class families. </p>

<p>I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some statistics about how much average debt people are graduating with, how much the cost of college has risen in the past ten years, how much government help has been cut, etc. Anything that might be useful would be great!</p>

<p>collegeboard.com will list the average debt when you do a search for each college. Not sure about the others. Good luck.</p>

<p>Might also check the online version of the Chronicle of Higher Education. They’ve routinely run articles about increasing student debt and cutbacks in government support.</p>
