<p>Since the student mails in his/her acceptance by mail, is there any need to ensure that the acceptance has actually reached Cornell? Maybe email them(who??)so that they know you have accepted the admission offer? Is this necessary,or simply hope that the letter will be/has been delivered? What if the worst case scenario occurs?</p>
