I recently begged my mother to homeschool me for this semester and onwards. I want to go into Emergency Medicine, a dream I’ve had since I was around 10. I’m not very heavy in ECs, but I’m planning to shadow my pediatrician during the rest of spring and summer. Currently, the only EC i’m doing is Science Olympiads, which is a major time commitment taking into account that i’m doing all the events on my own. However, I’m only 12 right now, planning to graduate in 2022 because of the massive amount of AP credits I would have by then, as well as satisfying all graduation requirements. I’m a first generation university student, muslim, and a black female. I’ve always spent my time with people 6-8 years older than me, as people my age seemed immature. What I mean by spending time with them, is that the vast majority of my friends are about to graduate or freshman’s in college, and we talk about typical things like drama and memes. Would I be a good candidate for University? I plan to apply through questbridge.
