hey guys (and girls)

by now some of you have been looking up reviews of colleges to help decide between which school to go to (or if you’ve been waitlisted); after carefully rereading so many reviews, im starting to realize that some school’s negative attributes are actually good things. obviously the best school for anyone is entirely personal and subjective, but by the same token its unnatural to affirm something through its negatives.

for example, one school doesn’t have the best social environment: im not really a party person, and i do love the feeling of an empty campus. another attribute is that the school is full of super-smart, competitive students: id rather have peers that know their things and theyd be able to help me out. after all, some professional fields arent necessarily full of lazy, moronic, coworkers.

what other things do you find that are generally perceived as negative traits, despite you holding them as positive??

Are you talking about UCSD?

I believe that Triton Eye originated from the abundance of nerdy Asian girls at UCSD.

I happen to love Asian girls. So that negative is a positive in my book.

haha yeah i am talking about ucsd. having gone to uci last friday, i really didnt get hooked into their vibe. growing up i wasn’t really attracted to asian girls; however ive been watching a lot of asian dramas, and now i dont mind pretty, intelligent asian girls. but i guess ill see this saturday whether ucsd will/will not be better than uci.

Hot asian girls exist, particularly of the Malaysian/Singaporean/Thai/Vietnamese variety. There are some hot Indian chicks at UCSD, too. Brilliant as well.

The school is so huge that you can’t really believe there aren’t hot girls there. Seriously, out of 15k undergrads, you think they’re all grody?

Get reaaaaaal.

I like how this thread just switched to the topic of Asian girls. I’ve actually visited UCSD before and I was not disappointed.

Everywhere you go, there will be hot girls. Most of them major in psychology for some reason.

Although, the higher we advance in mathematics, the less cute chicks there wil be. It’s the biggest problem for us engineers.
Don’t forget there is also a large amount of Filipino girls that will be at UCSD in the nursing department. I hear they are the most dtf of Asian girls.

UCSD doesn’t have UG nursing.

I don’t know about the psych majors, but… I know some girls at UCSD (bio majors) with similar physical stats as me (height, weight, etc). They’re all white, though.

You want hot asian girls? Go to UCI

Literally, I’m basking in the ocean of asian girls that could be the mother of my future babies

Actually if you REALLY want hot girls of ALL races. Go to Cal State Long Beach. ■■■■
That is where the nursing department is loaded with sexy beautiful Asian and white girls.

well i suppose as time goes on, there will be prettier engineering chicks— its funny, i would read engineering/physics/chem news and there would be a picture of a hot researcher; and they aren’t using stock photos either
i guess too many gorgeous girls would be a negative for me—i need to get my work and priorities in check!

UCI has a nursing program too

Personally, I’m going to UCSD for the Men’s water polo team.

/sarcasm

Kind of.

Okay, not really. It was a factor in my decision.
