Hi, please chance me! I applied to many colleges already and have been accepted to: UC Riverside , UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, and Purdue. However, I have been rejected from : Boston College, UCLA, and Univ. of Virginia, and wait listed from: UC San Diego, UC Davis, and Babson College.
I am a bit disappointed, but wondering if y’all could chance the few that I am waiting for: USC, Michigan, UNC, and Boston University., especially UNC.

Choir - Soprano for several years
Piano - Level 5, won several recitals + tournaments
Your GPA is solid and your test scores are fantastic! It’s your lack of ECs that could be causing some issues…
You have already gotten into some great schools that you should be really excited about! As for the schools you haven’t heard back from yet, I’d guess:
USC - rejected
Michigan - accepted
UNC - rejected
Boston University - accepted
I agree with the above comment that your EC’s are holding you back. You don’t have a lot of EC’s and you have little to no leadership positions. You have gotten into some great colleges so far but some of the more selective colleges you applied to probably won’t accept you. It’s not that you’re not qualified, but these schools have limited spots. Right now I’d say:
UNC- rejected (OOS admission is very selective and getting denied from UVA OOS is kinda an indicator that you won’t get into UNC)
Michigan- rejected
USC- rejected
BU- accepted
Don’t be sad about getting denied from some of these schools. UCI, UCSB, UCR, and Purdue are all amazing schools. No matter where you go, you’ll get an amazing degree and have a blast. Good luck!
Your test scores are great! Well, no worry about that part, but it seems like you are lacking of extracurricular and awards.
