Hi everyone!
I applied 2 weeks ago to Florida State University and I know I am going to have to wait a little while to hear. I am also waiting for my high school transcript to arrive to reflect my foreign language requirement.
I will have an AA from TCC after this fall, I have reflected on my application that I have 2 more pre-requisites pending that will be completed by December. I have applied for Spring 2016. I have a 2.95 GPA currently and I am hoping to have at least a 3.0 when I finish my 2 classes in December, I have applied to the College of Business. I have almost all of the pre-requisites done and the required GPA is a 2.90 (which I know is the minimum).
In all my pre-requisite classes that were required I have earned A’s and B’s. However, after highschool I made some dumb decisions and received an F in pre-calculus because I decided to stop going and never dropped the class like I should have. I feel like that F is going to haunt me and cause me to get rejected. I have a C or higher in all other previous coursework. Is there any way I could get that F off my transcript or am I stuck with it? I have almost 70 hours of credit so would they maybe look that over since pre-calc isn’t technically a requirement to get into business?
