<p>My current housing group for next year is trying to decide between Commons/Courtyards and a house off-campus. Some of them feel a house may be better if we can find one that is cheaper than SCC/CTY. Am I wrong to feel uncomfortable living in a house in College Park, which will really offer us (four females) no protection from break-ins or other issues.</p>
<p>I may just feel this way because I grew up in a really good neighborhood in Montgomery County and I watch way too many crime shows, but I feel like it’s better to pay slightly more in rent if that means feeling safe.</p>
