Nervous about SAT IIs.

On October 10th, I will be taking the SAT IIs.

I am a senior applying for Early Decision and my college requires 2 SAT IIs, so getting good scores on these 2 tests is crucial.

I will be taking the Bio M and Literature tests, and I have the Collegeboard book of every SAT II for practice.
I have taken AP Bio, and have performed well in Literature, but I have trouble finding practice tests online for it. Taking the online Bio tests from Sparknotes, I alway score in the 650-680 range.

What scores would be acceptable for a college like Wellesley?
How can I boost the scores in the time before the test?

Any help and suggestions would be wonderful.

I would think a school like Wellesley would be looking for SAT II scores in the 700s. If you’re scoring 650-680 on practice tests, you’re close. SAT II Literature mostly demands good, close reading of difficult texts, so it’s difficult to prep for; if you’ve done a lot of reading at an advanced level and do well on the SAT I CR, you should be OK. It’s worth spending a little time brushing up on literary terms, though. As for Bio, just keep working on those practice tests, and go back and re-study anything you get wrong. You might also consider taking a third test on Oct. 10 and sending in your top two scores. Don’t worry if you’re only signed up for 2 right now; you can just request a third test on-site and they’ll bill you (i.e., they won’t release your scores unless you pay for the third test). Take your two strongest subjects first, though, as you’ll be freshest at the beginning of the day.
