nervous?

Man, the last day of school was yesterday and its just weird that I will never go to my high school for classes. I mean I wont really see alot of the kids that went to my school, and thats just weird. Yeah, i’ll see the close ones, and we’ll keep in touch, but you just get used to seeing the same people over and over dont you? And now its a whole new world, with new beginnings, and I dont know anyone going to BU! I love meeting new people, but its kinda sad that high school is over. Are any of you feelin this way? Im really excited to get out into the world of higher education, independence and all. But I mean like I the high school I went to, I did the IB program, and that started in 6th grade. So I’ve known so many of these people at my school for like 6-7 years! Its going to be interesting to see where everyone will be in 10 years, like at my high school reunion. The girls I had liked and stuff, and now they are all like married, man thats gonna be strange! Any of you guys feelin this way right now, just holla!! Besides that, BU 2010 baby!

Hey, I felt the same way when I chose to attend BU. The summer before I was really really nervous, but what really helped was attending orientation. Wait till then, and Im sure you will start feeling at ease. I’m from Southern California, so as you can see, I’m pretty close to being as far away from home and still being in the continental US haha. But anyways, I absolutely loved high school, and really didnt want to say bye to my friends and such, let alone my family, but let me tell you, as soon as the first week of college, I knew I had made the right choice in moving to Boston. If your experience is as good as mine(Im sure it will be) you will have the time of your life, meeting soo many new students from all over the country and world. Really, its gonna be a blast, and comming home over the summer is nice too, seeing everyone from high school. Congrats on your acceptance and good luck.
