<p>All right, I have a 4.0 - 4.1 GPA unweighted for Berkely. I have an essay on my lisp and an essay on my ethnicity. I have decent EC’s and I am socioeconomically struggling, 1st generation college, and bad SAT/ACT scores (28 and 1760).</p>
<p>Am I rejected? I didn’t get any of the supplemental questionaires and I feel I was definitely borderline…</p>
<p>I’m fairly sure you don’t have an unweighted GPA above 4.0.</p>
<p>Anyway, socioeconomically struggling is an advantage. First generation student is an advantage. Bad test scores hurts, but that’s somewhat mitigated by the last two factors. And I’m not sure whether you meant you have a 4.0 unweighted or a 4.0-4.1 weighted, but either one isn’t TERRIBLE. I don’t see any reason to say you’re definitely rejected.</p>
