<p>How far along is Notre Dame on getting a Net Price Calculator on its web site? This is required by the Higher Education and Opportunity Act. All colleges will need a Net Price Calculators by October of 2011.</p>

When we used our FAFSA and CSS data, Notre Dame’s Net Price was well under Northwestern.</p>

Same result. ND was very generous and Northwestern was, um, not so much. At least in the calculator–haven’t seen any real-world offers yet.</p>
<p>Does ND take into account the tuition families pay for Catholic grade and high school for siblings? That might explain the difference, as I would guess Northwestern does not.</p>
<p>I have not looked at the calculator yet, but in real life, ND was quite generous, and Northwestern, ummm, not so much.</p>
