Networking cable length?

For livingston campus quad I, what is the optimal network cable length?

Also…I would like to hear what’s bad about this campus lol… (also the pros, if any)

(I’m also thinking about if I can sell network cable to other freshmen if this is not prohibited since the price of a 25ft network cable sold in Rutgers seems a little bit expensive to me)

You can just bring your own cable, 25 would be plenty. Also selling wouldn’t be prohibited as long as your not in front of the conveinece store selling it.

The reason people say Livingston is bad is because their is no real scenery, the dining hall food sucks (they have good takeout though), plus without the RAC there wouldn’t be much going on at all on that campus.

What is RAC? Can I choose take out everytime? Why would there be a difference for dining hall food and the take out food?

I would like to hear if there is really a lot of people buying network cable there…so I can sell them at a lower price lol

The Quads? It’s going to be a long year. I hate that place and I only stayed there for 3 days for a camp.

Tillett Hall food isn’t terrible…sub takeout is always good.

The RAC aka the Rutgers Athletic Center aka the Louis Brown Athletic Center is where mens and womens basketball have their games.

The RAC is the basketball stadium where all the Rutgers basketball home games are played. Yes there is a separate area to get takeout in the dining hall, but there is no takeout on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. The reason that takeout food is different from the dining hall food is because the takeout is a much smaller selection of food, its made for on the go dining, where as the dining hall has way more options but the options aren’t always that great. Also don’t expect your network cable business to be a money maker. Maybe a few people will need them but more than likely don’t waste your time.

On a sidenote the Sabaro’s in the Livingston Student Center lets students swipe their meal card for meals. I think its $8 of food off their menu, but its only during certain times in the day (after 4 pm till like 7-8, I forget).

Thanks for replying Inkontrol

I don’t understand why only a few needs network cable because its clearly stated no router is provided in dorm, do living hall receive good wireless signal?

No what I mean is people are smart enough to bring their own network cable. There are internet ports in every room and people usually plug straight from their internet jack from their computer to the jack in the wall. There is no router per say.
