My son wants to major in history and/or political science, then go on to get an MBA at a top business school.

I have read that NEU’s liberal arts division may not be as strong academically as some other colleges. However, the trade off is the great work experience through the co-op program offered by NEU.

In spite of (perhaps) weaker academics, would it make sense for a student to get the co-op job experience at NEU so he/she would be better prepared to enter business school? I assume liberal arts students at NEU can get reasonably decent co-op jobs.
