NEU or Wellesley

I’m torn between Northeastern and Wellesley applying ED as I have a pretty good chance at both. Which is better for an architecture major? Study abroad? Campus life? I’m very torn as there are strong pros at both. I know at Wellesley you can take classes at MIT, but is it really hard in applying for that?

If you are set on studying architecture, you should apply to NEU. At Wellesley, you will be taking most of your architecture classes at MIT. It is a long bus ride, although the buses run frequently and are free during the week.

Wellesley has fantastic, well-run study abroad options, with full-time staff in the countries where the programs take place.

You made a thread a few days ago asking about Notre Dame, calling it your dream school. I don’t think you should be applying ED anywhere given that, unless you are talking the EDII scenario.

As far as study abroad, Northeastern has a very extensive study abroad program as well with cool options on various ranges.

Obviously another big difference is the co-op program at Northeastern.

With 3 schools with so many differences in the mix, if you aren’t sure, don’t apply ED. ED is not a tool to up chances slightly but is for showing commitment to your absolute first choice.
