<p>I think it has to be seven characters including the period, as mine was “last name.first two initials” (without the spaces obviously).</p>

<p>It is last.first initial. If yours is last.first two initials, there is someone else at NEU with the same last name as you and the same first initial. Mine is a total of 6 characters</p>

<p>my whole name is my username on this site (oops) but my username on northeastern’s page is last.first two of first.</p>
