Decisions will be released shortly, so you might as well wait until you know if you can even consider going there.</p>
<p>As for your other question…perspectives on the program…I’m not sure how helpful the responses you get here will be. Most of the active CCers on this forum right now are HS seniors hoping to get in, let alone join any neuroscience institutes.</p>
<p>Even at schools with an established neuroscience department, the classes are often simply an amalgam of psychology and biology courses. So even if NU doesn’t have a dept, you could probably make your own major quite easily with courses like neuroanatomy, psychobiology, etc. that should be offered already by any uni with solid psych/bio departments. <p>Check out the communication sciences and disorders department. They have classes like neurobiology of communication and others you can take to learn more about the brain.</p>
