I’ve NEVER stayed at a hostel and have been warned away from them. Today, we checked into a hostel apartment in Stockholm and it’s very nice. We have the apartment to ourselves and it has 3 bunk beds. My friend’s H is on her top bunk and the rest of us are all sleeping on bottom bunks. We have the kitchen to ourselves and our own shower and toilet. It was a huge bargain compared to their options in the city and centrally located.

We’ve stayed in three hostels in the last three years or so. We get the family room. We’ve been very happy with our experiences. Our last one was in Monterrey, CA, close to the aquarium and downtown, and it had quiet hours starting at 10 pm. Honestly, it was quiet our whole stay.

What I haven’t done until now was start an Etsy shop selling my artwork. I’m currently very into silversmithing and it’s kept my attention way longer than any of my other hobbies Ive had over the years. I’ve sold five pieces! Am I making money? No, but I’m having fun.
