NEVER took the SAT! Do I need to take it to transfer?

Hey everyone.
I had to take a GED in High School, due to the fact that I was quite ill at the time, and there was really no other way.
Due to this, I never took the SAT. Never. I did, however, take the ACT.

I am at Cal. State Northridge, and I am looking to transfer.
Would it be in my best interest to take the:

 1. SAT
 2. Retake the ACT
 3. Both 1 & 2
 4. Simply submit my ACT

The schools that I am interested in are : Tulane, Pepperdine, U Mich, and few others.
So, what do you say? Simply put, the academic rigor of my school has proved to be a complete disappointment, and I am looking forward to moving to a university with more motivated and innovative students.

hmmm…bump

ACT is completely acceptable. You don’t need both. Can’t say if you should retake since you don’t give your score.

I happened to get on before I shut down my computer, but you won’t get a lot of responses on a holiday weekend especially.

Retake the ACT if your score is too low. Most, if not all schools accept both so you should be fine.
