<p>To the last 2 posters, yes, you can register for housing. Whether you are in Scholars or Honors will work out later when they start assigning rooms (in the summer). D1 was in a triple in an Honors dorm because at that time you had to pay the deposit for accepting in order to apply for housing (and she didn’t make her final decision for UMD until late April). Thankfully they changed that a few years ago so that it is non-binding to apply for housing now. If you decide not to attend UMD, be nice and tell the housing people in addition to telling the admissions people…</p>
