<p>I keep expecting to enjoy Adam’s performances because I seem to remember liking his initial audition. But so far I really do not enjoy him - hated what he did to ‘Satisfaction’, a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t enjoy him at all tonight either. Don’t like his voice and find his performance, well, too performancy, if that makes any sense (to anyone other than me). I feel like I am watching someone performing a part in a touring broadway show, and performing it a little over the top.</p>
<p>ds laughed at me when i said adam was talented…he went on to point out who “he” thought was talented…blah blahblah…by then I wasn’t interested anymore.</p>

<p>I don’t know why, but this group doesn’t grab me. I like Danny and Scotty but I just don’t feel compelled to watch the performances. I think it was a mistake to have Michael Jackson night tonight. Some of the songs were just not songs I wanted to listen to. Maybe I just need the size of the group to get whittled down.</p>
<p>What do you think the surprise change is going to be? Do you think that the judges will pick the one or ones to go from the bottom 3? I am looking forward to tonight’s show for that reason. I liked Danny’s performance.</p>
<p>In my opinion, Jasmine and Megan should be the ones to go home tonight. I think they were both chosen so that there would be a better male/female balance and not because they were the best choices. I don’t know who I’d choose for the remaining person in the bottom three. I don’t think that either Anoop or Jorge had a good night, although I do like both of them.</p>
<p>silverlady, I hadn’t thought of that possibility but it would definitely add some punch to the results show if the judges were to choose the two who will go home tonight. One of my Ds guessed that they’ll change it up by eliminating two each week but also bringing back a previous contestant. That might be fun, too.</p>
<p>I want to like Adam and am hoping I will like him singing a ballad better. His version of Broadway rock follows a formula, and I don’t like the screaming to which it inevitably devolves. I’d also love to see him without the Dr. Frank N. Furter channeling Elvis look.</p>
<p>I guess I’m in the minority. I really think Meghan has a unique character to her voice. However, she hasn’t made song choices that feature it since her initial audition. Maybe she’ll get one more go at it… otherwise, she’s a no go. </p>
<p>I don’t like Adam’s look, but I do think he has great talent. Scott is like Meghan, imo… hasn’t been making song choices that show him to best effect.</p>
<p>I love Jorge, but don’t suppose he’ll go very far.</p>
<p>I had to watch it on tape, and then ds started recording late so I missed the first four.</p>
<p>For the first time ever, I really liked Adam. Sure, he looks like the love child of Elvis and Flock of Seagulls, but I like that song and liked what he did with it.</p>
<p>Megan. Argh. I was embarrassed for her. What compelled her to pick that song? So lightweight, though she does have an interesting quality to her voice. She just looked horrible up there.</p>
<p>Anoop. Another argh. At first, ds and I thought he was mocking singers who try to go all G, but now I wonder if he thinks he really is.</p>
<p>I liked Jorge. I didn’t think he did as poorly as the judges did. I also just find him totally endearing.</p>
<p>My choice for bottom 3: Anoop, Megan and maybe someone I missed. I think the surprise is that the judges pick who goes home from the bottom 2.</p>
<p>I’d send home any two singers selected from the group composed of Anoop, Jasmine and Meghan. H thinks Meghan will be spared because of her looks and her very charming smile.
Lil Rounds has the best vocals in this group, IMO. And a very catchy name :)!</p>
<p>I just don’t think this group is as good as previous. I like Danny for instance but he doesn’t compare to David Cook. Maybe they will improve as the season goes on.</p>
<p>Do you think the new judge was brought on so they can get rid of Paula? Or has this been discussed already?</p>
<p>The “Vote For The Worst” website says that the twist is that the judges collectively have 1 “save” for the season. When they feel that America got it wrong and is sending home the wrong contestant, the judges can collectively agree to save that contestant. They only get 1 save all season though.</p>
<p>I actually like Meghan’s voice; it has a weird unique sound. I just don’t think she knows what to do with it, so she’ll probably go home soon, deservedly. I won’t miss looking at that tatoo.</p>
<p>I agree Megan’s voice occasionally has a nice, different sound to it, but last night her performance was at best silly. I think Allison was the best, followed by Alexis, Danny, Matt (who I never liked till last night), Adam, Lil (who was pretty meh last night, but great in prior weeks). Don’t get the Scott adoration – he’s a passable singer, but not great by any means. I agree with Simon, it was a fatal mistake by Kris to bring out the wife so soon. I’m thinking Megan and Jorge will be gone (and, no, I will not miss her tattoos!!!).</p>

<p>I think Jasmine and either Anoop or Jorge. Just on voice alone, I think Scott should go, but I don’t think he will. I don’t think we’ll see a save tonight.</p>
