<p>I thought the women were all bad last night. The producers want Alexis going through. They put her in a weak group and pimped her excessively. Some of those poor girls were there only to look bad. </p>
<p>I like Noop but wasn’t that impressed with him last night. Braddy the invisible was best. Gokey is a lock.</p>
<p>I don’t know why they aren’t given suggestions about songs to sing from the judges or teachers behind the scene. So many poor choices.</p>
<p>Is it just me, or does Danny G. look a whole lot like Robert Downey, Jr?</p>

<p>Alexis’ voice sounds scratchy already - she may have trouble getting through with a voice left. She needs to stop screaming - you can hear the breaks.</p>
<p>I missed Alexis when she came through in the preliminaries, and last night, so tonight was the first time I heard her.</p>

<p>OK–I’m really confused. Michael got through and he stunk. Both Rickie Braddy and Anoop got canned but they can sing. I’m not liking the direction this is going.</p>

<p>This is outrageous! I cannot believe Noop Dog didn’t make it. He had the second best voice. His image was sort of bland, however. Maybe that is what got him canned.</p>
<p>I can’t believe Michael got in over Anoop and Ricky B. I was hoping for those 2 and Alexis tonight. I don’t think anyone else from last night was as good. I think this season is going to be bad - surprising considering some of the talent they started with.</p>
<p>did anybody figure out how each group of 12 is chosen? very fishy, IMO…basically eliminated majority of voting by the public…producers chose the groups?</p>
<p>teri - she didn’t talk as much last night so I didn’t hear the scratchiness, but that always concerns me. The other girl who was let go - the one so full of herself - has that scratchy voice too. It is unfortunate that the screamy, gravelly voice is often rewarded in the voting but singing like that day after day is asking for trouble. I remember the Kelly Clarkson could hardy talk near the end of the competition. Jordin Sparks suffered an acute vocal hemorrhage in '08 and had to go on complete vocal rest. The type of singing and the schedule is not conducive to vocal health.</p>

<p>Yeah - I wouldn’t have voted for either, but the sympathy vote will carry him a long way. I think her voice is really more interesting - he’s just boring. Every year, someone sings Hero and they get blasted for singing it because it is Mariah’s signature song, but he got a complete pass.</p>
