I have been to one. You won’t be the only older fan. It’s mostly mothers with pre-teen girls and boomer couples.

Wear earplugs. You’ve never heard loud until you’ve heard 10,000 screaming pre-teen girls. Good lord. Seriously.

If you are guy, the lines will be short for the restrooms at intermission, but you might get trampled in the concourses. If you are a woman, I would recommend no fluids for 12 hours before the concert or you’ll still be waiting in line when the show is over. The audience is 95% female to 5% male.

My husband HATED it. He hated every bit of that performance. The crowd and judges seemed to loved it but I think they don’t care what his performances are like. They’ll vote for anything he does.

I don’t think he nailed it. I love classic rock but his performance was missing something.

I mean, I love led zeppelin… but that was just a bit too over the top for me and I didn’t like it at all… I guess can see how people would love it though, if you like that kind of thing… but for me it was just a really bad cover.

He sang “whole lot of love”. I think he took Slashes comments to heart and cut down on the upper register theatrics. I thought he did a good job on it.

I can’t wait to hear it, but I personally love Adam’s upper register. My DD (the trained singer) just adores Adam! She is so happy not to have Seussical rehearsals tonight so she can watch.
