You are right - some of the forms are for first-year applicants and do not apply to you. So don’t be intimidated, you are a natural! There was a recent post about it on the USC admissions blog:
Quick Tip for Transfer Applicants

Posted on December 12, 2011 by marquett

Recently I have been receiving a lot of questions about the required application components for Transfer Applicants. I thought it would be helpful to provide a quick overview. So here it goes:

All applications are now submitted though the Common Application. You will need to submit the following components if you are applying as a transfer student:

**1) The Common Application and USC Supplement

2) All college and high school transcripts. (And we do mean ALL. If you attended a college and didnt do so well, we still need them. It is much better to be upfront with this information rather than us discovering your college attendance later, trust me. If you did not graduate high school we will need documentation of a high school equivalency.)**

There are other forms and documents on the Common Application that USC DOES NOT require of transfer applicants. These include:

1) Teacher Evaluation Forms
2) Letters of Recommendation (unless specified by your academic department)
3) College or School Reports
4) Grade Reports

I would also like to recommend reviewing the Transferring to USC Guide <a href=“http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1213/TransferringToUSC_2012.pdf[/url] ”>http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1213/TransferringToUSC_2012.pdf ; before starting your application, as it may answer many of your questions about the process.

Remember the deadline for transfer admission is February 1st!

Good luck!
