The original skit on SNL was hysterical. As was the same “NPR” spoof when Betty While hosted. The Betty White show was so funny I looked to buy it on DVR online (SNL shows, turns out, are hard to find).

Sounds yummy. That reminds me, when we lived in Egypt I used to make my own ice cream. I had a yummy recipe for a rum and raisin ice cream. I wonder if I can find it - it’s only 23 years since I last saw it.

My husband is in town shopping and I called and asked him to get me some. They ddidn’t have it in the grocery store he was in (much to his relief when he saw the price of Ben and Jerry’s)

A lot of stores have pulled it off the shelves, according to facebook reports, due to objections by mommies. I think it’s hilarious and I would buy it! Geez- it’s Ben and Jerry’s!

This mom either. But the area I live in is just the sort of area that would not stock it because of this sort of nonsense. I’m on a quest now. Got to find some.

The article states it would be a limited time only at about 30% of places that carry the brand. We do have some of that brand here, but so many others to compete with it (even in winter).

That skit was absolutely hilarious, and it’s disappointing to hear that some grocery stores have sticks lodged so firmly… um, somewhere… that they won’t carry this product from a well-respected company.

Sorry nemom Mr. Cohen signed a petition supporting a new trial for Mumia and did so, as he claims, as a “citizen”. Yes he is a citizen, but he was also president of the company at the time and was a public figure and being in that position he garnered more attention towards the cause. If my neighbor signed the petition that would be his prerogative and right as a citizen, but if he owned a business I would not support that business and I would encourage others not to support it as well.
