<p>Last year I bought high end French made glasses from my optometrist- the coating wore off, the frames didn’t look so good with my prescription & they were *uber *expensive. ( my first car didn’t cost so much)</p>
<p>This year I bought eyeglasses from Costco. It took three trips before I made a decision ( the frames I liked kept getting sold & you have to go with what they have in stock), but they were a bargain, are comfortable & I think they did a really good job buffing the lenses.</p>
<p>However, I also got Transitions ( photo chromatic)lenses & it doesn’t seem they get very much darker. Is this just a coating that they can redo? From what I remember with a previous pair, the lenses were darker- although that was a brown color & these are grey.
( but didn’t think that should make a difference)</p>
<p>So grumpy, didn’t want to have to run back there today after waiting for almost two weeks already.
( but the reason why I am grumpy is because while I have already paid Sept housing for my daughter- her previous rental also debited our account for Sept., although her lease ended yesterday)
