Gosh, between the climbing wall, lazy river, and ice rink can any other facility top this? I hear its the new “center” of campus even for non-sports types and offers all kinds of classes such as yoga, hip hop, and tai chi.

Ha, don’t count to much on being able to use the lazy river. From what I’ve heard you used to be able to use it whenever you wanted (though it is quite small), though now you have to actually need the physical therapy. There is now a lifeguard who watches both the lazy river and the small recreation pool next to it to make sure you’re not enjoying yourself in the lazy river.

The fitrec center is super nice and offers a whole bunch of classes, but I really wouldn’t say that it’s the new “center” of campus since it’s a good 10-15 min walk down comm ave. for pretty much everyone not living on west campus. As a freshmen I’d probably say that either warren or more likely the student union are the most centerish parts of campus as they’re equidistant from west campus and downtown boston and they’re both surrounded by most of the major colleges.
