Anyone else getting new furniture? We have lived in this house for over 30 years, and we just ditched our LR furniture and the rugs in our LR and DR. We got a new loveseat, chair and rug for the LR. And a new rug for the DR. A small bench size coffee table is being refinished for us. We moved around some art pieces, and will take down the lace valances. Looking for a more casual look…not formal. So far, we are very happy with our new look.

Those windows let so much gorgeous light into your LR and DR. Both rooms look great!

They are slightly different but the same, if that makes any sense. They are “rag rugs” braided. The one in the dining room is a teeny bit brighter blue but they blend well.
It’s a very bright house, and those windows face west and south. So great afternoon sun. And in the summer, there are trees at the rear of the house to shade.
