<p>It seems that an Australian nightclub that caters to a largely Gay male homsexual clientele has gone to the Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission to get permission to ban straight and lesian clients because their Gay male clients aren’t “comfortable” around those with a different orientation.</p>
<p>The owner said, “it would be easy to sort out desirable gays from undesirable straights and lesbians”</p>

<p>I think that gays should open up more despite the risk of encountering hostility, because that is the only way they could become more comfortable with people unlike themselves. I do not support the ban (it is hypocritical). However, what I’m perplexed by are claims of “harassment, hostility and violence” experienced by the gay clientele that are allegedly induced by straight and lesbian clients? If this were true, why would they (the harassers) even go there, given their other options of places to go? There’s a possibility the gay guys are just being paranoid.</p>

<p>It ws just a strange headline that caught my eye. I was amused that the first thing a disliked minority wants after being invited to the party was to have one of your own and exclude everyone else including lesbian women.</p>
