New guy wanting to dorm in his college. Submitted security deposit late. Dreams dead?

<p>Hello, I am a new member of College Confidential, and I am also under a huge amount of stress.</p>

<p>I am going to attend University of California Riverside (sadly) and I have submitted my housing contract before the deadline on May 10. However, I did not pay the security deposit fee with in the deadline. Apparently, they did not take payments after 4:00PM. If it does come after 4:00PM then the payment would carry over the next business day.</p>

<p>From what I see I submitted an incomplete application and I really want to experience the dorm life regardless of what college I go to. Am I still able to live the dream??</p>

<p>The only reliable answer will come from your school. Why don’t you call them and ask if you are so concerned?</p>

<p>I submitted my housing application two weeks late and still got a room, but I am at a different college.</p>
