“Anything Could Happen at Harvard”–you might even See a Blonde Person!! Or not, if you believe this video. Even the Swedish girl who was featured was dark-brunette.

As was the Canadian farm girl, and the Californian.

So, beware, potential applicants, there are indeed Blondes at Harvard: hiding on the track and soccer teams (see the half-second shots near the video end), lurking in the shadows, but certainly not invited to speak aloud in marketing productions.

@wowthere: I love Grimes, and I thought the same thing initially. However, I don’t think it was actually Grimes, just the intro to “Anything Could Happen.”

It was lovely, but I thought some of the decisions were weird.

“What, blonde kids from Boston and New York? No we got none of those.”

“School of engineering! They’re fabulous, so we will show you their equipment but not let them speak, because they are too awkward to have a speaking section, so we will instead set them to music and rapid cuts.”

They are not, in reality, too awkward to speak, but the non-engineer in me chuckled at the potential implication of the video treating them like this.

I’ve seen many schools’ videos and this is one of the better quality ones. If a student takes advantage of the many offerings at college - that includes most colleges - he will have a rewarding four year experience.
