yay!!!

Congratulations! Best of joy and happiness to you, along with years of happy memories!

thanks!

I am all moved in. I still have a few boxes to unpack here and there, but it is absolutely wonderful. I have my very own garage and everything. That’s the best part!

I am so happy for you
Congratulations

Congrat!

And some virtual salt for a housewarming gift…

That’s cool fendergirl - congratulations!

Now, make sure you know the shortest route to Home Depot or Lowes.

Congratulations and thank you for supporting the housing market! If you have any questions about gardening, painting, bathrooms, amperage or whatnot - we are here to help!

haha - i actually have a home depot right up the street from me. i’ve made many trips there already - and I’ve only been at my house for two weeks. i bought paint, painting supplies, a new bedroom light, light bulbs, etc.

and BB - I’m definitely doing my part to stimulate the economy, haha! i bought a lot of new furniture… I actually brought all of my old stuff with me, but some of it i didn’t think went well in the new house… so i put the old pieces in my rec room and bought some new stuff. everything looks amazing!

i have pictures of my house… if anyone wants to see them send me a PM!

you are all moved in! congratulations- the crowd I run with still have boxes to unpack when it is time to paint
:o

Congratulations!

:)

Is this your first home? Then don’t forget that the IRS is going to very generously give you a first home housing credit which is essentially and interest free loan of $7,500 or 10% of the purchase price. Whichever is lower.

Hey fendergirl-wonderful news! May you enjoy many happy and healthy years in your new home!

Congrats, enjoy it.

As for the 7500 it went bye bye after 12/31. However, remember to keep your HUD b/c there are things on there that are tax deductible.

Fendergirl, it is good to hear from you again! Its great to know that things are going well. CONGRATS on your new home!!! This is such exciting news! I guess that you were able to get that mortgage! GREAT NEWS!

Great news Fendergirl!!

Yes, this is my very first home. It’s very exciting. My parents keep saying how great it is that I’m 26 and a homeowner! I bought it all by myself too.

I did get the 7500… my tax return was GREAT!! (you have to close on a house by july 1 of 2009 to qualify) I have a shopping list of things to get once it comes next week… most of these things can wait until it’s warm out… but I want to get more oil for my house, a lawn mower, a grill, an outdoors table and chair set for my patio, and a few other things here and there… Like I said, I’m doing my part to take care of the economy… ;)

Absolutely not true. As Fendergirl said, it’s good until June 30 of this year. Something to keep in mind for our kids who may be looking to purchase their first home. Not only that, you can get it on your 2008 return even if you buy the house in 2009.

Congrats on The Fenderhouse!

oooh… a fender house… i like the sound of that… my house is getting drums tonight… woohoo!!!
