New in Campus Security

<p>Just this morning I received an email from TUPD as the parent of a current student. For those of you who are concerned about the safety of your prospective students, you should check this out. It’s called Rave Guardian and it’s just one more way that Tulane is working to ensure that your child is safe when walking the campus or surrounding vicinity at night. Of course, we all know they should be walking in groups, etc, etc. I think this is really cool and I am glad as the parent of both a current and prospective student that Tulane is doing everything possible to ensure the safety of their students! </p>

<p>I thought the same thing, kreative. I hope my D has already loaded it on her phone, and I sure will be asking her about it right away.</p>

<p>I wonder if they can also use it when they go to other parts of the city but still on “Tulane business”. I am thinking specifically about things like internships where they might have to go to someplace not usually in the TUPD patrol area. Just in the short description on that link, it seems that they can utilize it for any outing.</p>
