<p>So I’ll be moving near UCLA alone sooner than I expected and I’ve no plans for the summer until August. Any recommendations for school parties and whatnot to have an early start with meeting UCLA students?</p>
<p>Get a job on campus. Take summer session. Those are the best ways. Maybe there are less obvious ways, like contacting other transfers on CC, looking up people on Facebook. If you are living in the dorms move in early.</p>

<p>I haven’t done it myself but some of my friends have met people by randoming messaging them on Facebook. This mainly works if you’re an incoming student. You should get a Facebook for its social benefit.</p>
