<p>The new issue of Consumer Reports has ratings of various laptops and tablets. It also has information about reliability, based upon tens of thousands of reports submitted by readers of the magazine. </p>

<p>Apple comes out on top in almost every measure. (Unfortunately, they were outside of my price range.)</p>
