New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ?

Hi!

We have to go see our son perform in the All State Wind Ensemble next month and this is where the concert is…Any suggestions for good seats? We’ve never been there…Thanks!

NJPAC gets great reviews for acoustics. It is a HUGE facility, so the cheap 4th tier seats are VERY far from the stage and you are very high. (took a youth group to a play there with $10 tix from their 4th tier initiative for youth - one adult got vertigo on her way to her seat).

I would recommend any orchestra seat or Grand Tier seat. We’ve been on the 2nd level boxes and they are quite good too.

Thank you! We ordered some Grand Tier seats. The gentleman at the box office was very helpful in explaining the seating charts…

Congrats to your son!

NJPAC is a beautiful venue. We attended several of our son’s all state performances and love the place.

If anybody watched America’s Got Talent last summer/fall, the “New York” shows were actually staged there.

Thanks, Musicmom!

We were very happy he got in, especially to wind ensemble, as it seems not a lot of Region 3 kids he knew made it…It will be a great experience for him, I am sure…
