I haven’t written much about my three years of looking for a new job after I left my last one, shortly after my father died. Because what’s to write? It’s been way too depressing for me to want to talk about how extremely difficult it is for a woman over 60 to find a job, no matter her qualifications. But now I finally have some good news to report. I’m very happy and grateful for the opportunity to work full-time to help further the interests of the community this organization serves. It’s something I’ve long wanted to do, and now I can:
